Exandria Unlimited Prime,[1][2] originally called simply Exandria Unlimited, is a miniseries following the Crown Keepers, a group of adventurers from Tal'Dorei, in 842 PD - close to 30 years after the Chroma Conclave's attack on the city and six years after the end of Campaign Two.[3]
Its sequel, Exandria Unlimited: Kymal, follows the Crown Keepers on another adventure following the events of "In Too Deep" (3x14).[4]

Production[]
All episodes of Exandria Unlimited Prime were pre-recorded before airing.[5] The series was created by Marisha Ray, and co-produced by Maxwell James and Steve Failows.[6]
Aimee Carrero was supposed to appear as a guest in the second campaign of Critical Role, but couldn't due to COVID-19 restrictions. This led to her becoming a cast member for Exandria Unlimited.[7]
The series opening features stained glass art by Joanna Johnen and animation by Christian Brown.[8] The character art used in the show is by Hannah Friederichs. Music for the main theme and art reel was composed by Colm McGuinness with additional original music by Omar Fadel and Hexany Audio.[9] The character miniatures were modeled by Eldritch Foundry and painted by Iron Tusk Painting.[10] Critical Role released a video showcasing the creation of the minis on Twitter.
The "Exandria Unlimited Wrap-Up" (Sx59) was streamed after the conclusion of the eight-episode series, on August 26, 2021.

Trivia[]
- The announcements at the beginning of every episode featured "Cozy Matt" in a robe with Omar, his corgi. They were recorded after the show, and at the end of the announcements, Aabria Iyengar made a random comment on Matt's appearance, influencing elements of his attire.
- Unlike Campaigns One and Two, the title of each episode was shown on the initial Twitch and YouTube livestream, rather than waiting for the VOD upload to YouTube the following Monday.
- To promote the miniseries, each cast member took over the Critical Role Instagram account for one day from June 18 to 22, 2021. Fan-made compilations of their Instagram stories can be found here.
- Exandria Unlimited is the first miniseries to feature a guest player character, Anjali Bhimani, who appeared from episodes 4 to 6.
- In test games held before Exandria Unlimited, Robbie Daymond played a goblin named Flinttip "Flint" Bearscat, apparently a rogue, as his second test character and Aimee Carrero played a character called Deni$e (Denise, or Denise with a dollar sign), whom Aabria immediately dubbed her "favorite". These characters appeared in Narrative Telephone as the subject of Robbie's story and as the storytelling character in Aimee's.[11][12] Aimee later played Deni$e Bembachula as a guest character in Campaign Three.
